I’m a simple Christian woman who is simply trying. Trying to follow
God’s call for me, trying to raise our kids in God’s truths, trying to be healthy, trying to keep my marriage strong, trying to make a happy and efficient home, trying to not yell at other drivers… Ok, so know right off the bat that I’m sooo not perfect. I’m… trying.
Nate and I have been married for 11 years, and we have 3 kids: Josiah (8,) Kyra (7,) and Levi (5.) I homeschool our kids based on Christian classical education and love it! I am passionate about teaching and learning, and am dedicated to learning to live simply and frugally, and getting myself healthy before I turn (gulp) 40.
I believe that I should live on less materially so that I can share with those in need; that foods made by God are best for my body, and foods that are refined and processed are at the heart of obesity and illness; that it’s my job to disciple my children, not the church’s job; that real ministry isn’t on Sunday mornings or at church events, but in my daily life, interactions, and relationships; that laughter is one of God’s greatest gifts; and that I am blessed to overflowing.
